133. Defy Physics?

The tiny ruby throated humming bird defies the laws of physics.

It propels its tiny body weighing just an ounce or 3.5 grams on a non-stop-flight of 500 miles

from the North America across the Gulf of Mexico to the South America, each autumn.

It is too small to store the energy required for the non-stop flight but it manages quite well.

It flies back again in the spring.
