132. “1..2..3..start!”

Contrary to the children’s rhyme, the frog rarely does a-wooing go!

Instead all the males sit in a stream or pond.

They blow up their cheeks and croak.

This sound guides the interested female frog to the spot.

Many frogs call in a chorus.

Some species even have a chorus master who leads the croaking.
