loop when it attacks another fish. It then plunges its sharp rows of teeth into one of the fish’s gills.

Once firmly attached, this vicious fish begins a twisting action with the knot of its body. It burrows

deeper and deeper into its prey until it is completely inside the other fish!The hag fish then stars eating

the prey while it is still alive from the inside until nothing but the skin and bone remain.
